A new wave of ransomware attacks has emerged from Storm-1175, a cybercriminal group based in China. Victims have seen their data exfiltrated and systems compromised, with intrusions impacting over 300 critical organizations. Microsoft warns that Storm-1175 has exploited numerous vulnerabilities, including those in popular software like Microsoft Exchange and SmarterMail.
