NVIDIA Confirms Data Breach Impacting GeForce NOW Users in Armenia
NVIDIA has recently confirmed that a data breach affecting its GeForce NOW service has exposed user information in Armenia. The breach, attributed to a regional partner, did not impact NVIDIA’s own network.
The incident, which occurred between March 20 and 26, has potentially compromised personal details of users, including full names, email addresses, usernames, dates of birth, and membership status. However, passwords were not exposed, and users who registered after March 9 are safe.
The breach was publicly acknowledged following a claim made by a hacker known as ShinyHunters, who offered the stolen data for sale. Affected users in Armenia will receive notifications from GFN.am, the local operator responsible for the service.
To protect yourself, be cautious of suspicious emails and ensure you update your passwords regularly.
