Booking.com Confirms Data Breach: User Information Compromised

Booking.com, a leading online travel platform, has reported a cybersecurity incident that has compromised user data related to reservations. Hackers accessed sensitive information including full names, email addresses, postal addresses, phone numbers, and communications shared with property providers.

In response, Booking.com has forced PIN resets for all affected reservations and has directly notified impacted users via email. Caution is advised as users may receive suspicious emails or calls related to their bookings. The company emphasized that it will never request sensitive information or bank transfers.
