Eurail Data Breach Exposes Personal Information of Over 300,000 Travelers

In a significant cybersecurity incident, Eurail B.V., a travel operator in Europe, revealed that a data breach in December 2025 compromised the personal information of over 300,000 individuals. The breach was disclosed in February 2026, alarming many who rely on Eurail for multi-country train travel across Europe.

Attackers accessed sensitive data, including full names, passport details, bank account numbers, and health information from Eurail’s customer database. The stolen data has reportedly been shared on Telegram and is being offered on the dark web.

Affected customers are urged to stay vigilant against phishing attempts and to update their passwords across various platforms. They should also monitor bank account activity closely.
